Welcome to Liquid Therapy Lodge Broken Bow Cabins! We are very grateful that you are staying with us and we hope your visit is full of fun, rest and treasured memories! We have made every attempt to create an environment for you that will transform your mentality into a state of total pleasure and relaxation. So please, forget whatever issues you left at home and just enjoy everything that is at your disposal! Unfortunately, the issues will wait for you so there is absolutely nothing to be gained by worrying about them now!
My husband started coming to Hochatown as a kid. He and his brother have special memories of fishing and hunting back in those days. Back then, Hochatown was basically a wide spot in the road. There was a small restaurant or two, a convenience store or two and that was about it. I don’t think they really cared, they were just here to fish, hunt, camp in a tent and just be immersed in nature. I’ve heard some stories about their adventures and I think it’s worth sharing a couple of them just to remind us all that the world is a different place now.They were camping in the tent one year and one of the guys that went with them had a small inflatable raft that he brought to sleep in. Everyone was giving him a hard time for being too soft to sleep on the floor of the tent in a sleeping bag. Turns out that he was aware that the tent leaked terribly and that we were going to be getting a substantial amount of rain that weekend. At approximately 2:00 in the morning as he lay sleeping comfortably in his rubber raft, the other guys realized that their backs were totally soaked as well as the sleeping bags. I think it made for a long night but provided a lifetime of memories and stories to laugh about (many years later). One other quick story. My husband was only a young teenager at the time and he often tells the story about him and his brother driving down to Hochatown late at night in an old Volkswagen Beetle and they were discussing how thirsty they were.
My husband made the comment that “ it sure would be nice if you could just stop at a convenience store and get water instead of getting sugary drinks that just make you more thirsty”. His brother laughed and assured him that he didn’t really think that very many people would be willing to pay for water at a convenience store. What? Did I just read that correctly? We could have been quadzillionares if not that blatant disregard of a pretty darned good idea! Back to my point, there are countless stories that they both have that were inspired in one way or another by this amazing part of the state.
As a couple, we started coming to this beautiful area together in 2015. We both loved the peace it brought to us. We started catching a vision for Liquid Therapy Lodge Broken Bow Cabins. The mountains and pine trees were mesmerizing and seemed to melt away a little part of life’s stresses. We also started ‘wishfully’ planning to have our own little slice of heaven one day. We talked about our dream cabin being the most perfect we could imagine and wanted our guests to have anything and everything they could want to make their stay the best! Although this was a lofty goal, and one that we continually strive for, we have poured our hearts into trying to think of all things that you might need or want during your time here. Our dream of Liquid Therapy Lodge Broken Bow Cabins began to stick more and more in our minds.
We have always been workaholics and we would bring our computers, boxes of files, briefcases, etc. We played a lot too, but this was the place we could come and get a tremendous amount done without distractions and interruption. As time went on, and our businesses were more self-sustaining, we were able to transition to more play and less work. I would be lying if I said that we never work when we’re at the lodge. We still bring most of our work stuff when we go, but we certainly don’t spend a lot of time on it like we did for the first few years. Now, we spend a lot of our time trying to enhance Liquid Therapy Lodge Broken Bow Cabins to make it as perfect as possible as previously mentioned. It is our goal that when guests visit our lodge, they get the same sense of peace and serenity that made us fall in love with this special place many years ago.
Though there are countless things to do in the Hochatown/Broken Bow area, to this day, our very favorite thing to do is to simply stay at the lodge. Many times, we will order pizza or something else from one of the many restaurants in the area, bring it back to the lodge and just enjoy and take it easy! That way, we don’t have to worry about driving if we decide to enjoy a cocktail or cold beer. Wow, I just talked MYSELF into making a reservation for tLiquid Therapy Lodge Broken Bow Cabins!
The pool and cabanas were added in 2023! When we first saw the lodge, we could envision families and friends sitting around a beautiful swimming pool sharing stories, love and laughter. We wanted to add the extra rooms because we knew this would be a special place and guests would likely prefer to have plenty of room to be able to invite everyone in their circle. A lot of thought and consideration was put into the design because there was a certain experience/vibe that we were trying to create. We think the final result was even better than we imagined. We absolutely love the pool and cabanas and it is our sincere hope that you love them too!
